This was the first Nicholas Sparks book for me. I wasn't quite sure of his
writing style, I just don't go for sweet and sappy, but this book was really
good. The story is a love story but with an edge to it. It did have some
sad parts in it. Evidently my state library thinks I need all of his titles
at this time because I have 5 more titles of his in my stack. I'm going to
give them a try. I'd give this book a 3 out of 5. It just didn't grab me.

hi Carla, you can try A Walk To Remember. its one of his most famous book. and its excilent. this is the first book i get to know Nicholas sparks, i'm going to get all his books as my personal collection.
